I attempted to capture the warmth and mood of a seasonal harvest by utilizing vibrant colors that are complementary to one another.
The composition invites viewers to appreciate the simple beauty of a seasonal mood.
The pen and ink room piece explores the concept of perspective with the cross-hatching technique.
I experimented with varying line weights and strategic shading to establish an illusion of space that draws viewers into the scene,
encouraging them to shift their eyes to different points and experience the piece from different angles.
The pen and ink still life piece is based on observation.
Using the cross-hatching technique I constructed both light and shadow effects to add a sense of depth throughout the objects.
